In Scent Detection 101, dogs learn to use their natural sniffing instincts to search for hidden scents through fun and rewarding games. This class builds confidence, focus, and teamwork while providing excellent mental enrichment for your dog. No prior training experience is needed — just bring your dog, some treats, and a willingness to have fun!

Intermediate Scent Detection

Take your dog’s scent work skills to the next level in Scent Detection 102! This class builds on foundational searching behaviors by introducing more challenging hide placements, increased search areas, and improved handling techniques. Teams will continue developing confidence, odor commitment, and problem-solving skills while strengthening communication and teamwork. Perfect for dogs that have completed an introductory scent detection class or have basic scent work experience.

Continuing Scent Detection

Designed for advancing teams, Scent Detection 103 focuses on refining search skills, building independence, and preparing dogs for more complex scent detection challenges. Dogs will work through longer searches, inaccessible hides, multiple hide scenarios, and varied environments while handlers learn advanced observation and handling strategies. This class emphasizes precision, confidence, and teamwork, helping teams continue progressing toward trial-level skills in a fun and supportive environment.

Drop-In Sessions

Join us for a fun and flexible scent detection drop-in class designed for dogs with prior scent work experience. Each session offers new search setups, creative challenges, and opportunities to strengthen your dog’s searching skills in a supportive environment. Drop-in classes are perfect for maintaining skills, gaining additional practice, building confidence, and exposing dogs to new search scenarios without committing to a full session. Great for teams looking for extra practice, enrichment, and nose work fun!  Notice/Intermediate and Advanced/Excellent Drop-In Classes available.
